Poland: MDDP Experts Highlight MAP Benefits and Upcoming KSeF Invoice Correction Changes

Type: Legislation

Effective Date: February 2026

MDDP experts recently discussed key tax topics affecting international and domestic businesses. They highlighted that double taxation remains a major challenge for cross-border companies, but the Mutual Agreement Procedure (MAP) offers a way to recover taxes and resolve disputes without going to court. While MAP is effective, it requires careful preparation and can be time-intensive. On domestic matters, the Polish KSeF e-invoicing system will eliminate corrective notes starting February 2026. From then, all corrections must be done through structured corrective invoices issued by sellers, with special rules for buyer errors such as incorrect NIPs.
