Type: Legislation
Poland’s Ministry of Finance has set the rollout of mandatory KSeF e-invoicing for early 2026, starting with large taxpayers on February 1 and other businesses on April 1. This follows a postponement from the original July 2024 plan due to necessary system overhauls identified in a technical audit. Enhanced features will include offline emergency QR code generation and the option for adding attachments to e-invoices. Public consultations have influenced these updates, introducing a new fine regime and provisions for continued paper invoicing for micro taxpayers. Details on upcoming legislative changes and a mobile application to support the new system will be released soon.
Effective date: February 1st, 2026
