Advancements in Poland's B2B E-Invoicing: Key Updates and 2025 Launch Strategy

Type: Legislation

Poland is poised to revolutionize B2B e-invoicing with the mandatory implementation of the KSeF system. The implementation timeline outlines crucial milestones, beginning with draft legislation expected by the end of March, followed by public consultation until April’s end, and an IT infrastructure audit slated for May. The legislative process is set for completion by 1st July. Taxpayer education and training initiatives are scheduled to commence in April and May, gearing up for the anticipated launch of the KSeF system in either spring or summer 2025. Key enhancements to the system include provisions for micro taxpayers’ flexibility, structured attachments, and a ‘big-bang’ implementation approach for all companies simultaneously. To facilitate support and dialogue during the KSeF system’s implementation, four open communication groups have been established.
