Type: Legislation Proposal
Slovenia has proposed mandatory e-invoice reporting for B2B transactions from June 1, 2026. This regulation requires accepted formats of structured e-invoices to be reported to the tax administration within eight days, including B2B invoices with non-residents. B2C invoices may continue in paper format. The draft Bill is now under review by the National Assembly. The EU proposes similar mandatory e-invoice exchange and reporting for intra-community supplies from July 2030. Taxpayers will have three options for e-invoice exchange: e-SLOG, EN 16931 EU standard, or internationally recognized formats agreed by both parties.
Effective date: June 1st, 2026
