SARS eFiling platform upgrade scheduled for March 10th, 2023

It is crucial to realize the Vision 2024 of a sophisticated, cutting-edge SARS that can be relied upon and respected. The technological infrastructure and digital platforms are essential to the implementation of this objective. These technological assets must exhibit the greatest levels of availability, robustness, and security in order to provide clarity and certainty, make it simple for taxpayers and traders to comply with their obligations and establish public trust and confidence.

By regularly performing upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance, South Africa is working hard to ensure that the digital platforms and technology infrastructure are available, robust, and secure in accordance with this Vision and Strategic Objectives, which include modernizing the systems to provide digital and streamlined online services.

System updates are planned for Friday, March 10 from 18:00 to Saturday, March 11, 01:30 in light of the aforementioned information.
