Draft decree to delay mandatory e-Invoicing

Type: Legislation

The ministry of Finance presented a draft decree, requesting the implementation date of mandatory e-invoicing to be moved from 1 November 2020 to 1 July 2022. One of the reasons for the delay is the problems businesses face during the current COVID-19 crisis. As of July 1, 2022, the XML text format language is required as the electronic invoice format.

Effective date: 1 July 2022 (anticipated)
