E-invoicing system Egypt

Type: Trend

Egypt’s tax system sees 9 million tax invoices. The government has signed a contract with a private contractor to implement an e-invoicing system by 2020. It will also be able to receive and send invoices by mobile phone. If successful, the system will be expanded to government procurements. This will make the end-to-end process of B2B transactions more efficient.

Effective date: early 2020
